We are building an association of art practitioners and art enthusiasts who want to see the arts and culture agenda pushed to the fore under a Labour government.
Arts for Labour two decades ago under its president Bill Owen (Compo in Last of the Summer Wine) was a thriving association. We intend now to reinvent the organisation in readiness for a new Labour government.
We aim to engage with shadow ministers and give our views on how Labour’s arts policy should evolve in the future.
We are not affiliated to the Labour Party, but only Labour Party members may join.
